Please note bookings are essential for full services and are usually made in advance due to high demand. Don’t hesitate to be in contact if you need an immediate repair, as this can usually be fitted in during the working week.

The full service offers a complete strip down and rebuild of your instrument. This service is recommended every 12-18 months. The instrument is washed, every part individually cleaned, worn pads, corks, and felts are replaced, mechanical issues are corrected. Tone holes are checked and levelled where necessary, and whole instrument is rebuilt with careful precision and alignment. Any other issues will be attended to under this service option but just may change the overall price (for example a post that needs re-soldering). This service comes with a 6 month warranty.

A general service will fix any issues you are having with your instrument. Issues such as missing corks and felts, a couple of pads replaced, bent key-work adjusted, some minor cleaning and re-oiling of mechanisms. This service is not a full service so does not include a full disassemble and wash. If you are after a regular annual service I would recommend the Full Service option.

For clients only requiring a specific repair and not a clean/service. Eg. snapped spring, missing cork, dent removal. Any further work required can be discussed.

An overhaul is different to a full service because every single pad gets replaced and all materials are replaced. Then all full service procedures are carried out on top of this. Please note I need a minimum of 2 weeks for overhauls as pads need time to settle and care and precision must be taken for the job to be done correctly.
